Victory column Berlin

The Victory Column in Berlin’s Tiergarten is one of the capitals major monuments. On line with restoration works the existing lighting was supplemented with light for the base and the hall of pillars with its glass mosaic. Wallwashers subtly enhance the base. Reflections on the polished marble clearly highlight the outlines in the dark. LED strips close to the façade underline the plasticity of the bronze reliefs. Hidden in specially coated profiles and locked in place not to blind they are hardly visible to visitors.
Brilliant light highlights the glass mosaic in the hall of pillars and makes it a logical extension of the column above. Having no extra lighting the sixteen marble pillars are set apart from the twinkling mosaic and create depth.
