The local authority of Schönebeck wanted a new building which is energy efficient. Skilful daylight planning contributes to this just as much as improving the quality of light at the workplaces.
In a study, we developed the possibilities for directing more daylight into the building.
The west facade with the offices behind it is well suited for daylight redirection through holographic-optical elements or light-directing louvres in the space between insulated double glazing.
