Day Night Light, Istanbul

This exhibition brings together a collection of light installations that reflect the natural light atmosphere in the city of Istanbul.

How do modern influential architects, designers and artists think about light and how do they enhance spaces with light?
Nine installations provide answers, as integral parts of a story:
A Journey through Time, from dawn to midday’s steel-blue sky, to dusk and night. In Istanbul Modern Museum’s elongated exhibition space, visitors interact with light: they pass through, walk by, step into and sit on the light installations. The objects change their brightness and color temperature like the sky over the course of a day.
