Service Centre of public Transport at Hamburg Central Station
Although the new competence centre of the Hamburger Hochbahn is located underground it appears to be flooded with daylight. The white ceiling with large area luminaires, combined with the bright rear wall, catches the eye from the outside.
The balance between soft diffuse general light and brilliant directed light is reminiscent of the interaction between sky and sunlight. The natural light with its refreshing and stimulating characteristics is once again our topic in this project.
