OPEN TALENT “FROM BOARDROOMS TO BIODIVERSITY: THE POWER OF LIGHT”

On 15 September, Ulrike Brandi speaks at the UPC School in Barcelona as part of the Architectural Lighting Lecture Series about “From Boardrooms to Biodiversity: The Power of Light”.

In her lecture, she demonstrates how light shapes our perception of architecture and urban spaces and does far more than simply provide illumination. Using various projects as examples, she explores the connection between design, sustainability, and the conscious use of natural and artificial light.

She shows how light creates spaces for people while also shaping habitats for other species. A holistic, systematic approach forms the foundation of her work.
