Luxembourg Pavillon

The building envelope of the Luxembourg Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai is a white Möbius strip that glows at night. The architecture thus alludes to the infinity and regenerative capacity of nature.

A strip of light slowly wanders across the Möbius strip. The sophisticated combination of a DMX and a Dali control system makes it possible to animate the facade.

Individual points of light on the ground convey a lively atmosphere. Depending on the scattered light of the surroundings, additional luminaires – if necessary – can supplement low light levels on the floor. In this way, we counteract unnecessary light pollution.

A forest resides inside the atrium. Like in a forest clearing, the light shines through the leaves and creates sunspots on the floor.

Visitors can leave the exhibition quickly via the slide or leisurely via the spiral ramp. Both are fun!
