Nothing shows the progression of time more beautifully than the path of the sun. We record the various shadow levels cast by the sculpture during the day and show their traces at night by illuminating them as LED light circles in the ground.
Where there was shadow at a certain time during the day, the field lights up exactly 12 hours later. The field glows with a delicate „reverberation“ or afterglow; the other areas of the light fields remain dark.
The sculpture reflects a warm bronze hue on one side, and a cool shimmer on the other. To do this, we calculated the different positions of the sun at different states of the moving sculpture.
